We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer to join our Carpentry and Joinery teaching team.

About The Role

You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, engaging teaching across a range of full‑time and part‑time programmes. You will plan, prepare, and assess learning activities while promoting essential skills such as literacy, numeracy and digital capability.

You will also contribute to curriculum planning and support the delivery of basic and key skills. You will take responsibility for maximising learner attendance, retention, and punctuality within assigned groups, ensuring an outstanding learning experience for all.

About You

The role requires a suitably qualified and experienced professional with a strong background in the relevant subject area. Applicants should hold a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.

Candidates must demonstrate comprehensive subject knowledge, an understanding of current educational initiatives, and a creative, innovative approach to developing teaching materials.

Intermediate IT skills are essential, particularly in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Desirable skills include familiarity with learner management systems, student record systems, virtual learning environments and e-learning platforms.
