WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • To become a Learning Mentor in our Progressions department, we need someone who is ambitious, committed, and personable.
  • The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities.

  • Although this position is centred cross campus, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other campuses or surrounding areas as required.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • To find a more detailed list of your day-to-day responsibilities, please refer to the key roles and accountabilities section on our Job Description. In summary, as someone who has a experience in developing and delivering programmes or support towards identified outcomes or objectives, you will support in many aspects. To name a few:
  • To follow the direction and participate in discussion with the CRQ Leader regarding the content and delivery of small group mentoring and support sessions.
  • To participate in the design and delivery of mentoring and support sessions enabling students to access online or learning materials that will give them the opportunity to address gaps in vocational knowledge and skills and to prepare them for assessments and examinations.
  • To track, monitor and inform on the progress of students through Pro Monitor to identify further learning opportunities and review impact of support
