WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
To become a Learning Support Assistant in our NEET department, we need someone who is patient, supportive and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have the chance to acquire new skills and develop their abilities in a wide range of activities.
We have a variety of students from the surrounding area, we are a welcoming and inclusive community that champions diversity and equality across our college.
Our departments collaborate to establish and uphold the inclusive HoW culture, we keep this in mind as we manage interactions with the public, fellow employees, and nearby schools.
The successful applicants will be based at our Worcester Campus but nevertheless all successful applicants may be required to work at other locations from time to time.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

In summary, as someone who has experience gained in support services, especially for young people (e.g. education, Social Services, mental health services, the NHS)., you will support in many aspects. To name a few:
To support College attendance, retention and achievement strategies by providing a high-quality pro-active support service to learners who have special educational high needs support requirements.
To ensure that all learners receiving support achieve as well as their peers and develop independent learning skills.
To provide learning support that contributes to an outstanding student experience from the start of their college journey to progression into further study, employment or greater independence.
