SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a committed and highly motivated SEN Teaching Assistant, to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team from 3rd September.

We are recruiting a part time SEND Teaching Assistant who is caring, enthusiastic and reliable, and able to support learning at our Infant site (Pewley Down).

This role will include supporting a named child both in class and through focused 1:1 and group work, working alongside the Teacher and our SEND team. This is a varied role and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope confidently in a demanding environment and deal with changing situations.

The role requires the ability to work well in a team, and to deliver programmes to individuals and groups of pupils. Applications are invited from interested parties who:

• have good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English & Maths at Grade C/equivalent)

Working hours: 0830 - 1230 (Monday - Friday, term time only)

Actual salary: £11,268 for 20 hours per week (April 25 pay rise still TBC, so rate will be higher than this)

Start date: Wednesday 3rd Sept 2025
