Salary: Point 28 - £32, 108 per annum

As our Student Engagement Lead/ Day Duty Principal you will play a vital role in supporting a safe, inclusive, and positive experience for all our students
- The role is heavily involved in maintaining learner security, discipline, and wellbeing, which includes responding to incidents, conducting investigations, and enforcing disciplinary procedures.
- Furthermore, the role involves crucial administrative and strategic tasks such as monitoring and evaluating the team's work for college reports and leading on the Student Involvement Strategy and enrichment programme demonstrating impact.
- This position also acts as a designated safeguarding person and is responsible for managing the Student Union and Student Reps ensuring the student voice is integrated into decision-making.
- The management and recruitment of the Student Engagement, Wellbeing and Safeguarding team and the Deputy Duty Principal.
What You Bring:
- Experience: Experience working with young people, adults and or vulnerable adults managing conflict situations through a trauma informed lens and work within restorative practice.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and compassion. Ability to build rapport, support resolutions, and work independently and collaboratively.
- Enthusiasm: Ability to work in fast paced role, completing dynamic risk assessments and a positive can do approach.
