We’re Hiring! Business Development Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Are you an organised, proactive and detail-driven administrator who enjoys supporting others and making things run smoothly? Do you thrive in a friendly team environment where each day brings a new challenge? If so, we’d love you to join us at Stamford College as our Business Development Administrator (Maternity Cover).

Working closely with our Group Apprenticeship Development Manager, you’ll play a key part in supporting the administration of our apprenticeship provision and helping us maintain the highest standards for learners, employers and staff.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all Apprenticeship documentation meets DfE compliance and audit standards
  • Processing Apprenticeship completions, transfers and withdrawals
  • Processing enrolments in liaison with the Management Information Services (MIS) team
  • Checking Data Lock reports and carrying out actions to resolve
  • Processing employer incentive payments in liaison with the Finance team
  • Assisting with employer co-investment invoices and queries
  • Updating the weekly planned starts tracker
  • Other general admin duties including enquiries into the inbox

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A Level 3 qualification in a relevant area and Level 2 English & Maths
  • Strong administrative experience in a busy environment
  • Confidence communicating with learners, employers and staff
  • Excellent organisation, accuracy and the ability to work under pressure
  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach with a positive attitude
  • The ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • An understanding of safeguarding, equality and inclusive learning principles

Experience with apprenticeships or FE systems is a bonus—but not essential.
