Inspire the next generation of musicians at Stamford College!

Are you passionate about music production and performance — and excited by the idea of helping young people turn that same passion into real-world skills? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Lecturer in Music to join our creative team and shape the next wave of talent in our UAL Level 3 Music Production & Performance programme.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in an environment that celebrates creativity, collaboration and professional growth. Whether you come from an educational or industry background, if you have the skills, enthusiasm, and drive to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver engaging lessons across music production and performance — inspiring students to reach their full potential.
  • Plan, assess, and provide meaningful feedback that helps learners grow both technically and creatively.
  • Coordinate elements of the course, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective internal verification.
  • Support students with live briefs, performances, and real-world industry experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously develop and enhance our curriculum.
  • Embed essential English and maths skills into your teaching.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong, up-to-date knowledge of music production, performance, composition, and technology.
  • Can inspire and motivate learners through creative, student-centred teaching.
  • Brings industry or teaching experience (or ideally both!).
  • Is confident using music technology software and digital tools.
  • Holds (or is willing to work towards) a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Shares our commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding.

Why join Stamford College?

At Stamford College, part of the Inspire Education Group, you’ll be joining a passionate and supportive community that values creativity and professional excellence. We offer:

  • Generous holidays – 37 days plus bank holidays (pro-rata)
  • Teachers’ Pension Scheme participation
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities
  • A friendly, collaborative team that’s passionate about helping learners succeed
  • A creative environment where your ideas and experience truly matter

Ready to apply?

If you’re ready to share your expertise and passion for music with the next generation, we’d love to hear from you!
