Location - Peterborough College
Hours - 33.3 hours per week
Contract - Fixed Term Contract - up to 12 months
Salary - From £28,528- £36,084 depending on experience and qualifications (pro rata) + MRA £3000 - £6000 (pro rata) depending on salary point

Peterborough College is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Lecturer in Computing and Computer Science to join our team on a maternity cover basis. You will deliver engaging teaching across levels 3 to 6, including Higher Education, and help develop learners’ skills in a variety of key computing areas.
We’re particularly interested in candidates who can teach in at least three of the following areas:
- Software Development
- Games Development
- Artificial Intelligence (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- AR/VR Technologies
- Enterprise Networking (Cisco)
- Cyber Security
- Big Data / Data Mining
- Web Application Development
You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, assessing progress, and supporting students to achieve their full potential, while contributing to curriculum planning and resource development.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree (or higher) in Computing or a related field (required)
- A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Industry experience in computing or a relevant specialism
- The ability to inspire, motivate and engage students across different levels
