We’re looking for a Reporting & Systems Team Leader to play a pivotal role in shaping how data drives decision-making across the College. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a specialist MIS team while working in a flexible, hybrid environment.
About the role
You’ll lead the development and delivery of high-quality reporting and data systems, ensuring accurate, timely management information to support both operational and strategic decisions.
Working closely with the Group Director of MIS, you’ll oversee dashboards, reporting solutions, and learner data systems—helping to improve performance, student outcomes, and business intelligence across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading and developing the MIS Reporting & Systems team
- Designing and delivering reports, dashboards, and data solutions (SSRS, Power BI, SQL)
- Driving improvements in data quality, reporting, and system integration
- Supporting curriculum and business teams with data insight and training
- Ensuring compliance with funding and regulatory requirements (ESFA, OfS)
- Contributing to strategic data and systems development across the Group
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in MIS, reporting, or data systems (ideally within education)
- Advanced skills in SQL, reporting tools, and dashboard development
- Experience leading or mentoring a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly to a range of stakeholders
