Are you an organised, detail-driven person who enjoys working with data and supporting learners behind the scenes? Do you take pride in accuracy, teamwork, and great customer service? If so, we’d love you to join our friendly and dedicated MIS team at Inspire Education Group.
We’re looking for a Student Records Coordinator to take the lead on student data for our Higher Education and Franchise provision, playing a key role in ensuring our learners’ journeys are recorded clearly, correctly, and compliantly.
What you’ll be doing
In this varied and rewarding role, you will:
- Act as the main point of contact for student records for the Group’s HE and Franchise provision.
- Coordinate projects and tasks for your area, working closely with Student Records Administrators.
- Carry out accurate and timely data entry across all student journeys — enrolments, withdrawals, transfers, completions, and more.
- Process change requests from academic and support teams with precision and care.
- Support the data validation process, helping to maintain high-quality, accurate information across our systems.
- Play an active role in the enrolment process, working with Student Services to ensure a smooth experience for learners.
- Expand your expertise by keeping up to date with ESFA, HESA, and local authority funding rules.
- Provide friendly, helpful support to colleagues via telephone, email, and service desk requests.
- Work closely with the wider MIS team, contributing to a positive, can-do team culture.
You’ll also occasionally visit other sites to support colleagues and wider enrolment projects — a great opportunity to collaborate and expand your network.
What we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in a data-focused or administrative role
- Great IT skills, especially across Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- A keen eye for accuracy and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to great customer service
- The ability to handle confidential information responsibly
A background in FE, HE or education is helpful, but not essential — we provide full training and ongoing development.
Why join us?
At Inspire Education Group, you’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive, and growing team that genuinely cares about quality and student success. In return for your dedication, we offer:
- 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and discretionary days
- Local Government Pension Scheme
- Ongoing training and professional development
- A positive, inclusive working environment
- Opportunities to contribute to meaningful improvements in how we support learners
- A role where your accuracy and attention to detail truly make a difference
