Do you enjoy helping people access learning opportunities and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes? Are you organised, approachable and passionate about helping adults build their confidence, develop new skills and achieve their goals?

We’re looking for a friendly and proactive Tailored Learning Co-Ordinator to join our Adult Skills, ESOL & Digital Learning team at Stamford College.

In this varied role, you’ll help co-ordinate our Tailored Learning provision, supporting tutors and learners to make the most of the opportunities available to them.

From organising course information and supporting enrolments to monitoring attendance and celebrating learner progress, you’ll play an important part in helping adults access learning, stay engaged and move forward.

Working closely with the Head of Faculty, tutors and colleagues across the College, you’ll help ensure our courses run effectively, learner records are accurate and learners receive the support they need to succeed.

What will you be doing?

  • Co-ordinating the day-to-day administration of our Tailored Learning courses, keeping course information, learner communications and records organised and up to date.
  • Supporting tutors by preparing course packs, registers, learner information and assessment documentation so they have everything they need to deliver effective learning.
  • Responding to learner enquiries and supporting referrals, enrolments and inductions, working with Admissions and MIS colleagues to resolve queries.
  • Monitoring attendance, following up with learners who are not attending and helping to identify any barriers that may be preventing them from participating.
  • Supporting tutors to record learner progress, achievements and outcomes, helping us understand the difference our provision makes.
  • Gathering learner feedback and success stories to help us celebrate achievements and continually improve our courses.
  • Working with community organisations and referral partners to help more adults discover our learning opportunities and access the support available.
  • Helping the team maintain accurate records and evidence to meet funding requirements and support the continued development of our provision.
  • You’ll support provision delivered through the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority (GLCCA) and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), helping us reach learners and develop opportunities for adults across our communities.

About you

You’ll be someone who enjoys being organised, supporting others and making a positive difference. You’ll bring a helpful and patient approach to working with learners and tutors, alongside the ability to manage a varied workload and keep track of important details.

You’ll have experience in administration or co-ordination, be confident using IT systems and spreadsheets, and take pride in maintaining accurate records. You’ll also be comfortable working independently, using your initiative to resolve issues and knowing when to seek further support.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Confidence handling confidential information and maintaining accurate records.
  • A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, safeguarding and supporting learners who may face barriers to participation.
  • Experience of supporting tutors, adult or community learning, learner enrolments, attendance monitoring or funding requirements would be an advantage.
