Job Title: Administrator - Cover Coordinator
This is a split role – Cover Coordinator (Grade C) 7.15am – 9.30am and Administrator (Grade B) 9.30am – 1.45pm.
Actual Annual Salary:
£10,907 - £11,889 (CLF Grade B). Based on actual hours, Term Time Only + Inset days
£7,280 - £7,849 (CLF Grade C). Based on actual hours, Term Time Only + Inset days
Total Actual Salary: £18,187 - £19,738
Full Time Equivalent Salary:
£25,136 - £27,398 (CLF Grade B). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
£27,964 - £30,146 (CLF Grade C). Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours of work: Part-Time, totals 30 hours per week. 7.15am – 1.45pm Monday to Friday.
(Grade B - 18.75 hours and Grade C - 11.25 hours)

Are you seeking a varied administrative role with an early start time?
Broadoak Academy in Weston super Mare require an individual who will support the academy in two separate admin roles. Starting at 7.15am, the first part of the day will involve working as a cover coordinator, this position will be responsible for the effective administration of both planned and unplanned staff cover within the academy. This includes ensuring that cover arrangements are of a high standard, cost-effective, and aligned with the operational needs of the academy. Additionally, the role involves the accurate and timely administration of all staff absences.
Then, from 9.30am, this role will move into a generalist administrative role providing general administrative and clerical support to the academy. Duties will include covering reception, dealing with incoming and outgoing mail and ordering stationary as well as some targeted admin support for specific areas such as admissions, work experience etc.
About you:
You will have:
- excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
- effective use of IT, ideally including management information systems, to support effective delivery of administrative processes. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, e-mail, keyboard skills and use of the internet.
- experience of working in an administrative role and undertaking a range of administrative tasks
- a good telephone manner
- the ability to work well within a team environment whilst also working on your own initiative.
- the skills to organise staff cover whilst working under pressure.
