Status: Permanent
Hours: 22.5 hours per week. Typical working days will be Monday – Wednesday, 8.00 am – 4.00 / 5.00 pm with flexibility to meet business needs. This role will include some weekend working on a rota basis.
Salary: £13,500 per annum (£22,200 per annum pro rata) which is Point 18 on the Weymouth and Kingston Maurward College (Business Support) Grading Guidelines

The role:
The Premises and Estates department need a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to support the team with general caretaking duties. The role will involve working across the beautiful College grounds, in the Grade I listed Manor house and all other buildings on the estate. This is a demanding role with everchanging priorities. You will need to be a quick thinker with the ability to work using own initiative and as part of a team.
Duties will include but not limited to: reactive maintenance, security, preparation of rooms for functions or educational purposes, inspections and compliance checks. Full training will be given, but a general knowledge of the duties would be advantageous.
A current full UK driving Licence and ability to drive is essential for this role due to the size of the estate.
