The purpose of this role is to be readily available for technical escalations and assist with more complex installations and support issues. The post holder will interact with a number of different stakeholders across the organisation, including staff, students and external parties.
You will support a diverse range of technologies within the college environment. You will provide a point of escalation to the IT team and have a hands-on approach with more complex support issues and larger projects. You will also assist in the day-to-day management and appraisal of the IT support team.
Given the wide range of technologies used throughout the college, no two days will be the same, and this role is ideal for someone passionate about IT and seeking variety in their work. You’ll join a small, supportive IT team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the college’s IT systems.
The college doesn’t hold a sponsorship licence therefore we are not open to candidates who require sponsorship under the points-based system.
