Knowle DGE Academy joined Midsomer Norton Schools’ Partnership in September 2023 and are part of a Hub of schools in the Trust focusing on educating young people aged 5 – 19 years, who have diagnosed Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), or Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
The Midsomer Norton Schools' Partnership was founded in 2009 following the hard federation between Norton Hill and Somervale Secondary Schools. Since this point the Trust has grown to include other secondary schools and a large number of primary schools, which are all located in the Southwest of England. Midsomer Norton Schools' Partnership provides support and challenge to all of our schools so that our entire community of children and young people can achieve their best. We are seeking a teacher to will join our team to work in one of our primary model classes and welcome candidates with a range of skill sets.
The main personal attribute we are looking for is the capacity to enthuse, engage and inspire our young people. This post represents an excellent opportunity for either a teacher eager to enter special school teaching or someone already experienced in this sphere of education.
