Lambeth College are seeking to appoint an EHCP Tutor within the ALS department. We require special educational needs (SEN) tutor to work with young people and adults who need extra support. You may work with individuals who have physical disabilities, sensory impairments (i.e. hearing or visual), speech and language difficulties, learning difficulties such as dyslexia, conditions such as autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, or have a combination of these difficulties. Part of you role will be to attend statutory annual reviews or other related meetings, and will involve reviewing Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans. To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience of teaching and assessing students and act as a tutor within the ALS department with students with identified learning difficulties or behavioural difficulties. In addition you will work with the ALS Curriculum Services Manager to identify students in the classroom, in a variety of areas. Some of this work may be administrative rather than tutorial. Based in the heart of London Borough of Lambeth, the College has two, centrally based campuses on Clapham Common and Brixton Hill. We have an exciting development at our site in Vauxhall/Nine Elms.
