Lambeth College is recruiting for a Skills Coach Coordinator to ensure delivery and quality within the apprenticeships in the Faculty of Science, Built Environment and Manufacturing offers in the area of but not limited to Applied science, Dental Technology, Dental Nursing, various engineering specialists and built environment and construction.
The ideal candidate must have minimum A1/TAQA assessor award, with relevant professional or subject specialist qualifications, teaching qualification (or willing to undertake a relevant course in the first year of employment) within good all round education to include relevant qualifications at minimum level 3.
Understanding of apprenticeship standards and EPA requirements is essential along with the ability to assess on a range of course provision. Good ICT, verbal, written communication and administrative skills are vital to this role, as is the ability to work as part of a team and establish effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines is key, as are the skills needed to effectively line manage and develop staff. Experience of monitoring, tracking, compliance and performance in relation to apprenticeship completions is essential to ensure that high standards are maintained.
Permanent - 36 hours per week.
