About the role

The Lambeth College Gateway Team is keen to appoint a full time Young People's Support Worker. This role is for someone who is skilled at devising and facilitating activities to assist with the recruitment and retention of potentially underachieving young people, in particular through outreach work which encourages the young people to engage with the College.

Lambeth College is part of the London South Bank University (LSBU) Group which opens a wide range of benefits and career opportunities for the post holder.  Based in the heart of the London of the London Borough of Lambeth, the College currently operates from two campuses located adjacent to Clapham Common and on Brixton Hill.  In September 2022 the first building of the exciting redevelopment of our site in Vauxhall/Nine Elms will open.  We serve a diverse community and both our staff and student make up reflect this. We are part of the London South Bank University Group.

Contract

This role is contracted on support staff terms and conditions that attracts a competitive salary, annual leave of 26 days plus bank holidays and numerous opportunities for continuous professional development.

Full time – 36 hours per week – Permanent
