Contract Type: Permanent - 0.8 FTE (26 hours per week)

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Hair & Beauty Teacher to join our supportive and talented team at Snowdon Village - Bristol Futures Academy. We are a growing organisation, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
About you:
You will be:
- A passionate individual who wants to be a part of transforming education and will make an active contribution to the development of the Cabot Learning Federation and chosen Academy.
- You will be used to planning and consistently delivering high quality lessons
- will have experience in delivering the curriculum in your chosen area
- will be a strong communicator with the ability to embrace change and motivate colleagues and students.
- A well-qualified specialist, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree
- you will have the ability to teach Key Stage 3- Key Stage 4.
- We look for professionals who have excellent class management skills and have high expectations of work and behaviour.

About Snowdon Village:
Snowdon Village is a multi-site, cross-phase alternative provision that sits within the heart of the CLF. The Snowdon Village sites include The Nest, Engage, Bristol Futures Academy and City School.
Our primary aim is to meet the needs of children and young adults who have social, emotional and mental health issues by offering a suite of alternatives to mainstream school. Members of Snowdon Village may engage with the provision in a variety of ways, from long-term residential care to short-term, part-time alternatives which complement their existing school experience.
