About the Role
Join one of the region's leading apprenticeship providers and help develop the next generation of skilled electricians.
As an Electrical Lecturer within our Apprenticeships Team, you'll deliver engaging, industry-relevant learning to apprentices working towards the Installation and Maintenance Electrician standard. Using your practical experience, you'll bring learning to life, helping apprentices develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to succeed in the electrical industry.
Working closely with employers, apprentices and colleagues, you'll play an important role in shaping high-quality apprenticeship programmes, supporting learner success and contributing to the continued growth of our provision. Whether you're an experienced lecturer or an industry professional looking for a new challenge, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact while continuing your own professional development.
This role is offered on a 0.8 FTE basis, providing flexibility alongside a rewarding and varied career in further education. For more details, please take a look at the role description. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly.
Applicants will be required to hold a full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or be willing to work towards obtaining one. If you do not hold a suitable teaching qualification, the College will support you to obtain this as part of our investment in your professional development.
If you're ready to inspire the next generation of electricians and bring your industry experience into a rewarding teaching career, we'd love to hear from you.
