Lecturer in Computing. Part Time (22.2 hours per week). Temporary until 31 August 2021.

We are keen to hear from enthusiastic and motivated lecturers who can deliver innovative and exciting learning experiences, while maintaining a student-centred approach to their teaching.

You will be qualified to at least a Level 4 in the vocational area and have the ability and experience to deliver IT courses at Levels 2 and 3. You will also be educated to Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent) and be Fully Teacher qualified e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE or be willing to work towards obtaining a teaching qualification. Successful applicants who do not already hold a teaching qualification, will be supported in gaining the required Qualified Teacher in Learning and Skills status.

Experience of delivering BTEC courses and the ability or experience to deliver courses on programming languages such as C#, Python would be an advantage. Experience of delivering and knowledge of networking, cloud computing and cyber security would be desirable. Experience of other vendor certifications such as Microsoft Professional would also be an advantage.
