An opportunity has arisen within our large diverse Motor Vehicle Department for an experienced and highly motivated Programme Lead. Applicants are invited from a Motor Vehicle background; ideally able to deliver subjects such as Vehicle Engines, Chassis Systems, Transmission Systems, Electrical and Electrical System Principles of Maintenance, Diagnostics and Repair. 

The successful applicant will teach across a range of full and part time programmes to students typically studying at Level 2 to Level 3. Applicants should therefore hold a relevant Level 4 in a Motor Vehicle discipline as a minimum requirement. 

The Programme Lead role will include working closely with the Programme Area Manager to monitor courses and course data and plan programmes to maximise resource and funding. Ensuring student progress is tracked and maintained on College IT systems, retention and achievement levels are maintained and improved upon are also important features of the Programme Lead's responsibilities, as well as the development and implementation of systems/processes and other improvements to support the management of learning. 

Candidates will have a track record of delivering high quality teaching and learning, and experience of leading course provision and coordinating IV are essential together with the ability to appraise courses using a range of quality and performance indicators. 

You will hold the following:

-Minimum Level 4 in Motor Vehicle

- Full Teacher qualification Level 5 or above e.g.

Diploma in Education and Training, Cert Ed, PGCE

or equivalent

-Level 2 in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).
