ICT Service Delivery Engineer. Full Time. 37 Hours Per Week. Permanent.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced ICT Service Delivery Engineer to join our Infrastructure Support Team. In this role you will develop and manage the College network / telecoms systems and ICT infrastructure, always ensuring robust and reliable services that support the needs of the College staff and students.
The team is a highly technical and experienced department within the College, supporting and developing an extensive range of ICT facilities, working within an ITIL framework to support a diverse user community.
To be successful you must hold the following:
A Degree or equivalent in a related discipline, or demonstrate a range of relevant experience within an enterprise network environment, significant and proven technical support experience, together with a desire to resolve issues to root cause under minimum supervision.
Minimum Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent).
The role requires a clear analytical logical approach to problem solving along with good interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a diverse technical team across multiple sites is essential to the role.
Experience in Microsoft Windows Server operating systems is essential, whilst the following technologies would be desirable: O365 Management, VMWare, Meraki, Fortinet/Fortigate Firewalls and SCCM. Experience of managing, deploying and maintaining Layer 3 networks is also advantageous.
