Are you a creative and experience developer who can bridge the gap between tech speak and the normal world, where people think that JavaScript is some kind of posh coffee? If so, you could be our next Web and Digital Team Leader.
We’re looking for a digital superhero, with extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP who can lead, develop and implement new systems, while solving technical problems. You’ll oversee digital content management, analytics, SEO and CRM development, as well as managing external supplier relationships.
You’ll bring with you strong experience with a range of languages and proven experience of UX and accessibility, and why it’s not just making it look pretty, as well as working with a range of internal stakeholders.
This is a hands-on leadership role, where your technical knowledge will help to develop the skills in the small but mighty web and digital team. With a collaborative approach you will help to shape the digital experience of one the UK’s largest further education colleges.
You will have:
A Level 2 English and Maths Qualification (or the equivalent e.g. GCSE grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above)
A Degree level qualification, or equivalent experience in web development or programming
Closing: 27 July 2025
Interviews: 7 August 2025
