Loughborough College Elite Sport is a highly successful department with over 2,000 learners. The department offers a wide range of provision up to L3 qualifications, working nationally with a broad range of funded programmes that includes study programmes, apprenticeships, international, adult programmes and the Diploma in Sporting Excellence.

The College is seeking to appoint a Deputy Head of Department and the successful candidate will be passionate, creative and dynamic and to able to develop and maintain strong partnerships with external stakeholders (such as NGB’s, clubs and employers) and lead on the development of high quality learning programmes.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing programmes and staff to help the department meet its objectives, and be able to demonstrate understanding of Quality Assurance models and systems.

You will possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively with a range of partners. You will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines. A knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies is essential.
