We are looking for a suitably experienced individual to take up the role as Safeguarding Coordinator. Working as part of the Learner Welfare Team, you will act as an initial point of contact for Safeguarding and Prevent referrals and have excellent knowledge of the safeguarding thresholds and timely referrals will be made to external agencies where relevant. Working collaboratively with the Designated Safeguarding Leads to provide advice, guidance and support to learners and staff cross college.
You will have exceptional organisational skills that will enable you to prioritise your working load to ensure the most vulnerable learners are safeguarded appropriately, upholding the college duty of care at all times. You will encourage good practice for Safeguarding, Prevent and Equality and Diversity by assisting in the development and delivery of effective training and resources.
You should have extensive experience of working within an education setting and possess a flexible and solution focused approach to work. If you consistently demonstrate the positive attitudes, values and behaviours of the organisation, then we look forward to hearing from you.
