Access to HE Science Lecturer (Sessional/Fractional)

We have an opportunity for a talented, dynamic and committed teacher of science to join our Access to Higher Education team. You will be required to teach chemistry and physics to our Access to Higher Education students, and it is expected that you will have previous experience of teaching Science at level 3. We welcome applications from NQT’s.

You will be a positive and enthusiastic practitioner who is able to successfully motivate and engage adult learners through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies. A relevant degree or equivalent is essential, and a teaching qualification is desirable, but we will consider those who are willing to work towards. You will also have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and demonstrate an inclusive commitment to the development of all your students.

We are looking for a teacher who will develop and embrace exciting and innovative modes of delivery as part of a highly committed team. You should demonstrate excellent practice regarding teaching and learning and a continuing interest in your own professional development.
