The Role

The Higher Education Sport department is actively recruiting an experienced Lecturer in Sport Science with a particular focus on Physical Activity and Health or Exercise Physiology.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a progressive, learner focused department that places innovative teaching, learning and assessment at the forefront of their professional practice.

For this role, you will have experience of teaching undergraduate students within your specialist area of the PA and Health or Physiology. You will also have the ability to contribute towards the delivery and assessment of Quantitative Research Methods and Statistics.

This role is a full time, permanent position.

The Applicant

You will have a commitment to student centered learning with teaching and curriculum design, underpinned by scholarly activity, research and/or experience as an applied practitioner.

To be successful you will have a Masters in a relevant sport science discipline and a good honours degree that is relevant to the post along with teaching experience in HE.
