The Role
Duties
- Lead yoga classes for groups, providing instruction and guidance on proper techniques and poses
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for participants, ensuring their comfort and well-being during the class
- Develop and modify yoga sequences to meet the needs and abilities of participants
- Demonstrate and explain proper breathing techniques, alignment, and modifications for different levels of experience
- Offer guidance on mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation techniques to enhance the overall yoga experience
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Yoga Instructor from a recognized yoga school or organization
- Strong knowledge of yoga principles, techniques, and philosophy
- Experience in teaching yoga classes to individuals or groups of various skill levels
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate yoga poses and techniques
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to yoga practice
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with participants and create a positive atmosphere in the class
