The Role

We are looking to recruit experienced Learning Support Assistants to work with our learners who have PMLD and complex Special Educational needs at our Nido Volans Centre Lambeth.

The ideal candidate will have good levels of English and Math’s, and will support our learners both in and outside of the classroom, including in the community.

The candidate will have the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, teachers, parent/careers and, other agencies involved with the students. Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment and an understanding of safeguarding and discrimination issues and the difficulties faced by those with learning difficulties are essential.

You must be willing to assist learners with regards to their personal care and mobility, taking instructions from learners regarding their support needs. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability establish good working relationships.
