The Role

A experienced lecturer in Sport and Public Services, is required to assist with the effective planning and organisation of Sports and Public Services programmes and teach on a range of Sport and Public Services related courses with students of varying abilities teaching across a range of levels and awarding bodies, including L1, L2 and L3 courses as well as working with NCFE and BTEC. They should be willing to assist the Curriculum Manager with the curriculum development and the expansion and development of the department as well as the promotion of Sport and Public Services and other courses in the Service Industries curriculum areas and participate in marketing events as required.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in providing careers IAG to meet the needs of individuals. They will have achieved a minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy or willingness

to complete and have a good standard of general education. They would have the ability to articulate clearly and to be understood in teaching and making presentations to class groups and have efficient administration skills to support good student record keeping.
