We are looking for an experienced and detail-focused SIA Tutor Quality Assurance to support the integrity and quality of our SIA provision. This is a specialist role, focused on ensuring that assessment practice is robust, consistent and fully compliant with awarding body and regulatory requirements.
You will play a key part in maintaining high standards across the learner journey, supporting both staff and students to achieve strong outcomes through effective quality assurance processes.
What youll be doing
- Carrying out interim and final sampling of SIA assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Developing and maintaining clear sampling plans across SIA cohorts
- Monitoring assessment activity to ensure compliance with awarding body standards
- Submitting assessment outcomes and achievement data in line with required timelines
- Identifying trends or issues in assessment practice and recommending improvements
- Working closely with tutors and programme leads to strengthen quality and consistency
- Maintaining accurate records of sampling activity and quality assurance outcomes
- Supporting internal and external audits relating to SIA provision
You will also contribute to the wider team by promoting a culture of high standards, continuous improvement and professional practice.
What were looking for
- A teaching qualification or working towards one
- Good literacy and numeracy skills (minimum Level 2 or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of assessment practice and quality assurance processes
- Experience of working within a curriculum or training environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues
- A proactive and flexible approach in a fast-paced environment
