Teaching Assistant (ASC Support) -Specialist Resource Provision

Lydiard Park Academy is seeking an exceptional and motivated Teaching Assistant to work in our ASC Centre to join a Trust which truly values its staff and provides a highly supportive environment. The post holder will work as part of a team to promote the educational, social, physical and emotional development of pupils within the ASC Centre. The post holder will work with all pupils in the SRP to support them in school and act as a lead TA for a nominated pupil, having particular responsibility for his/her welfare.

Salary: £24,806 gross per annum (pro rata)- £16,645  gross per annum (actual)

Hours: Part time - 29 hours per week - term time only (39 weeks per year)

The Role:

This role is a pivotal one in the academy’s future journey, as our newly appointed Teaching Assistant will help to continue to build upon the successes of our Trust. The successful candidate will form part of the support team and will work closely with the Principal, other senior leaders and all staff across the school.

ASC Teaching Assistant will support students from years 7 – 11 across the curriculum as directed by the Centre Manager.
