An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Teaching Assistant to join our team. The role involves supporting young people between the ages of 6-18 successfully engage in learning, helping them to develop academically, socially and emotionally. We are looking for people who have vision, imagination and who are passionate about learning, raising standards and supporting quality teaching. In return we can offer you a supportive staff team, modern facilities and continual professional development. This role would be suitable for someone with previous Teaching Assistant experience or for someone with experience in youth work or care who would like to move into education.
Knowle DGE Academy joined Midsomer Norton Schools’ Partnership in September 2023 and are part of a Hub of schools in the Trust focussing on educating young people aged 5 – 19 years, who have diagnosed Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH), or Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
