We are seeking an inspirational Behaviour Intervention Officer to relentlessly continue Frome Academy's improvement journey. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptionally high standards around both student behaviour and their overall outcomes.

What We Are Looking For:
- The ability to rapidly respond to changing student behaviour through the school's on call system and around the site, de-escalating behaviour and ensuring students are ready to return to their learning promptly
- The ability to run small group interventions, focussed on improving engagement, behaviour, welfare and/or student attainment
- The ability to oversee the school's isolation room, ensuring students make good progress in their learning, communicating effectively with teachers when needed.
- The ability to provide administrative support associated with our behaviour system and the role.

The Right Candidate Will Have:
- GCSE English and Maths at grade C/Level 4 or above.
- A proven ability to work using their own initiative under the guidance of a teacher.
- A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
- The ability to use relevant technology/equipment.
- A can-do attitude.
- A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
This post is for 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday from 8.15am-3.15pm (half hour lunch), term time only plus 5 INSET days. The actual salary will start at £23,800 gross per annum (£1,983 gross per month). There are five pay points within the grade and the post holder will move through these points, increasing their salary each April.
This role will require an enhanced DBS with a clear outcome, you will also need to have right to work in the UK documentation.
