Muschamp Primary School and Language Opportunity Base are looking to appoint an enthusiastic qualified Class Teacher to teach full time from September 2025 in our friendly and supportive school. We have the flexibility for the successful candidate to teach within the phase of their choice and can offer the opportunity for subject leadership or year leadership. Muschamp is a vibrant, fun, 3 form entry primary school with a specialist SEND unit for 52 pupils with speech, language and communication needs. We pride ourselves on ensuring that all our pupils have every opportunity to reach the highest standards in learning and personal development.

As a school we are very careful around workload and wellbeing. We do this by:
• Protecting PPA at all times
• Giving release time to all subject and year leads
• Having a long weekend break in the autumn term
• Ensuring staff meetings are used for teachers to complete tasks, not to add extra jobs to do later
• A minimal marking policy, making excellent use of ‘in the moment verbal feedback’ as a core principle
• Having half termly ‘go home early days’ for all staff
• A policy that allows up to 2 days, unpaid, leave a year to attend important events
