What will I be doing as an Assessor at Nacro?
Being a key member of our team, you will assess and coach a small caseload of apprentices undertaking the delivery of Hairdressing Level 2 & Educator Level 3 Standard & Level 3 Teaching Assistant Standard with an exciting opportunity to support and develop the delivery of Level 5 in Hairdressing.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Train and assess apprentices to enable them to meet the requirements of their qualification, by carrying out assessment visits in their workplace.
- Use a flexible approach to delivery with a mixture of blended learning, online and face to face workshops.
- Plan assessment visits, based on the learner's individual plan/profile, using a variety of assessment methods including - Observation and professional discussions.
- Determine assessment decisions about learners' knowledge and understanding and provide developmental feedback.
- Maintain records of apprentices' progress and achievements.
- Work alongside Internal Quality Assurers and awarding bodies to ensure quality of provision and learner success.
