This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team who are the central hub for a wide range of college systems and processes with a focus on improving efficiency and effectiveness. You will also be exploring new technologies and opportunities for technology to enhance the experience of a wide range of system users.

This key cross college role focusses on managing, developing and supporting the effective use of a range of key college systems. These systems support everything from initial assessment, learning delivery and tracking, communication, business support and a range of reporting and approval processes required across a complex multi-campus Further Education college. Responsibility is shared with another Systems Managers and the specific specialities of each are taken into account when deciding the lead person for each, although knowledge of all systems is shared.

You may already be an experienced manager, learning technologist, systems or eLearning assistant, web developer or systems administrator with the leadership qualities to develop a team that is able to effectively support users and systems. There will be a focus on customer service, wider service improvement and reporting against key performance indicators / service level agreements.

In addition to excellent technical skills, the ability to organise, prioritise and schedule work to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to apply these when dealing with technical and non-technical staff, students and the public.

Full training and support will be provided and it is expected that the successful candidate will undertake the college management programmes.
