The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Lecturer in Mathematics to join our dedicated team. You will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of programmes including Functional Skills (Entry Level to Level 2) and GCSE Mathematics for both young people and adult learners. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and student success in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics across a range of programmes including GCSE and Functional Skills
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and development
  • Support student recruitment, induction, and progression
  • Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and learning materials
  • Provide tutorial support and regular feedback to students
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance processes


Who You Are:

You are a qualified and passionate educator with a degree in Mathematics or a related subject, and you hold a recognised teaching qualification. You bring proven experience of delivering successful and innovative Mathematics teaching, with strong knowledge of both Functional Skills and GCSE curricula. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to engage effectively with students and colleagues alike. You are committed to inclusive education and student-centred learning, and you thrive in collaborative environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other common IT applications, you also demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding and equality and diversity principles, ensuring a safe and supportive learning experience for all.
