The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Curriculum Manager to lead our Sport and Fitness programmes at our Redbridge campus. As the Senior Curriculum Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of our Sport and Fitness curriculum. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the programme, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and supporting the professional development of your team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Curriculum Development: Drive the development of the Sport and Fitness curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methods and ensuring alignment with industry standards.
· Staff Management: Lead and support a team of lecturers, ensuring high performance through effective management, observation, and professional development.
· Student Progress: Monitor and support the learning, progress, and conduct of students, ensuring effective assessment and accreditation processes.
· Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality standards, contributing to continuous improvement and the College’s strategic objectives.
· Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day organisation of courses, manage budgets, and ensure efficient use of resources.
· Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong links with education providers, employers, and external agencies to enhance the programme’s offerings.
Who You Are:
You should possess a degree or an appropriate professional qualification in a related subject, along with a recognised teaching qualification. You will have extensive teaching experience in Sport and Fitness within Education, and a proven ability to manage and develop staff. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines are essential, as are excellent written and oral communication skills. A commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Safeguarding is also required.
