At Netherhall Mead we are proud of our warm inclusive community and are seeking to appoint a proactive and skilled Site Manager to join our team and help ensure our school remains a safe, secure and welcoming place for pupils, staff and visitors.

  • Salary:  Grade Band 7, Points 19 - 22, £35,709 - £38,544
  • Hours: 37 hours per week – 52 weeks 

In this key role as the Site Manager, you will take the lead on site maintenance, security and efficient daily operations of the school site.  This includes managing contractors, maintaining buildings and grounds, and ensuring compliance with the statutory health and safety requirements.  Experience of hydrotherapy pool management is desirable, as the role includes supporting the safe operation and maintenance of the school’s hydrotherapy pool - training can be provided.  Please see the job description for further information.

We are looking for a reliable, flexible, and proactive individual with practical maintenance skills, a strong understanding of health and safety, and the ability to work effectively with staff, contractors, and external agencies. You should be confident using IT systems, committed to high standards.  Most importantly, you will support the school’s vision, values and the wellbeing of our community.

The successful applicant will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS check.

Applicants will also be required to undertake pre-employment checks which will include a declaration that neither they, nor anyone who lives in the same household, is a disqualified person under the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2018 as well as other necessary checks.

Online checks will also be carried out on shortlisted candidates in line with KCSIE recommendations.
