We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Facilities Assistant to support with the general building maintenance and administration tasks for the College.
Duties will include helping the Facilities team to ensure that the building is safe, secure, well-maintained and cleaned to a high standard. Duties may include some basic maintenance tasks, for which full training will be given. Support and direction will be from the Colleges Facilities Coordinator.
The role will include office-based assistance with the booking of services, inspections, and service schedules. You will upload data into the college H&S compliance System. The successful candidate will be IT literate and have a good knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word.
The successful applicant will have:
• Level 2 English and Maths.
• IT skills
• Experience and proficiency in the use of basic computer software/ Microsoft Word.
• Preferably some experience in facilities or general building maintenance.
• Can do attitude.
• A thorough and methodical approach with good attention to detail.
• Good communications and customer service skills.
• The ability to set own priorities after general instruction and guidance from the Facilities Coordinator.
