Carpentry Course Leader
Full-time (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
Salary £28,225 - £32,736 (dependant on experience)
Newbury College are looking for an outstanding lecturer to lead our level 2 and 3 Carpentry and Joinery courses. You will be responsible for curriculum planning, teaching and supporting students through their apprenticeships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion in the subject area of construction and experience teaching and supporting apprenticeships in Carpentry and Joinery,
The ideal candidate will have;
• Level 2 qualification in maths and English
• PGCE or NVQ equivalent
• IV qualification
• A degree or qualification in a related vocational area
• Experience of Apprenticeships Standards in Carpentry and Joinery
• Experience of site practises within the construction sector
It would be beneficial if you also have;
• L3 qualification in English and Maths
• An ability to teach on multi-skills courses
• Leadership skills
