Trainee Progression and Academic Support Coach (PASC)
30 hours per week
36 weeks per year (Term Time Only)
£11,690 actual (£18,341 FTE)
Newbury College is looking a Trainee Progression and Academic Support Coach (PASC) to join our small and friendly curriculum support team.
You will be providing academic support for SEND/EHCP students with a range of additional needs and assisting existing PASCs with the organising, delivering and reporting on a case load of students’ progression and academic support in order to develop the skills necessary to become a PASC.

The anticipated start date is September 2022.
You must have:
- Educated to a minimum of a level 2 in English and Maths
- Experience of working with young people or adults with moderate and severe learning difficulties and/or disabilities
- Good communication skills
- Ability to relate to a range of individuals
It would be beneficial if you also have:
- Manual Handling training
- A qualification in care or learning support
