We are looking for an Apprenticeship and Business Development Officer to join our Apprenticeships team at Newbury College. You will be the first point of contact for employers and those interested in apprenticeships, traineeships and business programmes. Providing effective customer service to meet the needs of the College customers. This role will require you to work with employers at the start of an apprenticeship programme, to ensure that they have the correct contracts in place and their apprenticeship service is set up correctly.

This is a full time, permanent role that requires the successful candidate to work 52 weeks per year. 

The successful applicant will have;

• Educated to Level 2 or equivalent qualification.

• Advanced IT skills – spreadsheet (Excel) / MS Word / Outlook

• Relevant multi-functional administration experience

• Customer Service experience

• Highly developed written and oral skills

• Excellent administration skills

It would be desirable for the successful applicant to also have;

• Experience of working within apprenticeships

• Experience of working in a Further Education college environment

• Experience of using assessor software systems (E-Portfolio)
