Childcare Lecturer

30 hours per week

Salary Band: £21,968 actual (£27,095 FTE)

We are looking for an outstanding Childcare Lecturer to join us as a course leader. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to move into teaching, or someone who is an experienced lecturer. You will be joining a well-established Childcare and Health and Social Care provision within Newbury College.

The key requirements of the role are to teach, assess, co-ordinate and assist in managing the Early Years Foundation Stage courses (EYFS) level 2 and level 3. You will also be assessing apprentices. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to move into teaching, or someone who is an experienced lecturer.

You must have:

• Experience of working in an educational setting or apprenticeships in the workplace

• Related qualification (minimum level 4)

• L2 English and Maths

It would be beneficial if you also have:

• L4 Education & Training Award

• Assessor Qualification

• 2 years teaching experience

• Mentoring/coaching qualification

• Internal Verifiers Qualification (IQA)
