What you'll do:
- Deliver science-related content within Health & Social Care modules with engaging lessons across Level 2 and 3 vocational courses (and potentially Higher Education)
- Design and develop course materials that bring theory to life and reflect current industry practices covering human biology, health conditions, nutrition and infection control
- Inspire learners to explore careers in health, social care and science through real-world examples, sector visits and enrichment activities, preparing them for careers in nursing, midwifery allied health and more
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to aid success
- Collaborate with colleague to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices
- Liaise with external agencies and care providers to enrich the learning experience and maintain industry relevance
- Contribute to a curriculum development and enrichment activities like care sector visits and conferences
- Collaborate with a passionate team that values innovation, inclusion and student access
To apply you will need:
- A Level 5 teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards during employment)
- A Level 3 qualification and recent experience in Health & Social Care or a science specialism with a passion for applied learning, particularly in biology, health sciences or a related field
- Experience or interest in the health and social care sector
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality and continuous professional development
- Strong communication, organisation and digital skills
