Salary: £19,359 - £24,912 FTE

Actual Salary: £9,679 - £12,456 pa

Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Also, with the up-and-coming development of the successful 20M bid of the Institute of Technology, opening in September 2021, which will be an inclusive centre for technical qualifications, higher apprenticeships and training for key technical roles, it’s a really great time to be joining us. About the role:

Are you looking for a new challenge then we have an exciting role for you. In this role you will be allocated and oversee a caseload of Apprentices and will work alongside Assessors and Tutors to ensure the learners achieve and address any who are at risk.

As part of this role you will assists learner in securing apprenticeship positions with career guidance and contacting employers. You will take part in recruitment and interviewing of learners and actively market the College to potential employers and also assist in college events and attend local business networking events.

In this role, you will:

• Work with the Employer Engagement Team to respond to enquiries/requests for information from local businesses and potential learners.

• Complete Progress reviews for Apprentices meeting the SFA funding guidelines.

• Maintain regular contact with the employer, to ensure that the employer is actively involved in the training and is satisfied with the learning programme.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths and ICT, or commit to gain if these are not held.

• Experience of working in a College environment and engaging with learners/apprentices.

• Knowledge of apprenticeship funding from training provider and employer perspective.

• Experience of engaging effectively with employers to achieve agreed outcomes.

• Clean, current driving licence and access to a car to travel to work sites.
