Energised to be an Employer Engagement Officer?

Our talented Employability team are looking for you to join them to promote the importance of work experience to our students, employers and the wider community. In this role you will be able to maximise opportunities for our learners to meet and work with employers in Swindon and the local area to develop strategies for our learners to increase their employability skills and confidence. In doing so, you will build and sustain excellent working relationships with these employers. Part of your role will be to ensure that student's work experience placements are Health and Safety compliant as well as meeting with internal and external regulations. You will be working with our students; talking to them about placements in the classroom as well as meeting with them and their employer to do their reviews offsite. In addition to this you will organise employability events, mock interviews and employer talks.

For this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a record of engaging and maintaining relationships with employers, external organisations, have strong communication skills, have the confidence to be an effective negotiator and motivated to frequently travel off-site to meet employers and organisations (remunerated).
