Executive Assistant – Finance, Resources & Business Development

Salary: 29,436 FTE

Actual Salary: £17,900 pa

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

About the role:

This is a great opportunity to work with the senior managers in a fast-paced environment. Your work will be varied and you will have responsibility to ensure that the Deputy Principal Finance & Resources and Vice Principal Business Development and Employer Engagements time is used effectively through diary management and prioritisation.

You will have considerable experience working in a similar role providing professional and confidential support to senior managers. You will also work alongside the other EA’s and provide assistance and cover for them as required.

In this role, you will:

• Act in an appropriate manner as first point of contact to internal and external customers.

• Manage, maintain and administer the diary and correspondences.

• Organise and maintain filing systems both electronic and paper to ensure a central college repository for key finance documents and contracts.

• Produce meeting agendas and minutes to a high standard when required.

• Ensure contracts, policies and procedures are updated for which the Directors have corporate responsibility.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Business Administration or other relevant qualification is desirable.

• Minimum of Level 2 qualification in Maths and English or commit to gain within 24 months of commencement of employment.

• Relevant unit or module of MOS IT qualification (or prepared to gain within 12 months).

• Experience of managing and producing correspondence sensitively and in a timely manner.
